Clinical expertise: dental pulp diseases and treatment of difficult cases

Professor Zhang graduated from the department of medicine and stomatology of Hebei medical university in 1979.

From 1987 to 1989, he went to Japan to study in Matsumoto dental university. In 1991 and 1996, he went to Japan for academic visits. In 2004, he obtained his doctor's degree.

Professor Zhang used to be the director, chief physician, professor and master tutor of stomatology department of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University. He also served as vice President of stomatological hospital of Hebei medical college.

In 2000, professor Zhang was transferred to the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University and vice President of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University.

Professor Zhang is executive director of Hebei Hospital Management Association, director of Hebei Branch of Chinese Stomatological Association, expert of Hebei Medical Accident Appraisal Committee, expert of Hebei health professional title appraisal and provincial management.

He has published 20 papers and 2 SCI papers in professional journals and won one second prize of scientific and technological progress of provincial department of health. He has undertaken 4 projects funded by provincial health department and 1 project funded by natural fund of provincial science and technology department. He wrote two books and one translation.
