Cui Zhanqin, female, graduated from Department of Stomatology, Hebei Medical University in 1987, and graduated from Hebei Medical University in 2003 with a master’s degree. She is now the chief physician, professor and masters’ tutor of the Department of Orthodontics of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University.

After graduation from university, professor Cui has been engaged in medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. Through years of clinical practice and assiduous study, she has accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of orthodontic diseases. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex malocclusion deformities such as retrograde malocclusion and periodontal disease. In2001-2002, she studied in Stomatology Hospital of Beijing Medical University for one year.

In 2006 and 2007, she was awarded as outstanding doctor of the hospital for two consecutive years.

So far, she has published more than 10 papers, edited one book, participated in the compilation of five books, and won one first prize of the department of health's scientific and technological progress, and three second prizes of the department of health's scientific and technological progress. She has completed one project of Provincial Education Department, two projects of Provincial Science and Technology Department, one project of Provincial Natural Fund, and now undertake one project of Provincial Finance Department.
